James Artl is employed at McGovern & Greene as a Forensic Accounting Consultant. His assignments with the firm have included engagements involving insurance defense, due diligence, partnership disputes, and state lottery compliance examinations.
Prior to joining McGovern & Greene, Mr. Artl served in the United States Air Force, and worked as a staff accountant for a geoengineering firm.
Mr. Artl holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from The College of Charleston as well as a Master's degree in Forensic Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. He has successfully passed the exam to become a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and is currently working toward completing the required years of service to achieve full certification. Mr. Artl is also working toward obtaining certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
