Computer Forensic Training Opportunities

Jonathan D. Bobb, CPA, Partner in Charge of Computer Forensics and Electronic Evidence Analysis at McGovern & Greene, also offers training in the area of "Computer Forensics and the Law".

Mr. Bobb, as an adjunct faculty member of the Department of Computer Security and Forensic Investigation Program, has instructed an Intro to Cybercrime class at the Wilbur Wright College in Chicago .

The Introduction to Cybercrime course is designed to introduce students to the various types and levels of cyber crime, the far-reaching consequences of such crime, and how technology can be used to prevent and detect cybercrimes that have been committed.

Topics covered include:

• Understanding Computer and Networking Basics

• Analyzing Network Intrusions and Attacks

• Understanding Network Security Concepts and Policies

• Collection and Preservation Techniques for Digital Evidence
